ATI Catalyst 4.10 released

ATI hat soeben den 4.10er Catalyst zum Download freigegeben. Das Paket gibts weiterhin als einzelnen Treiber ohne Controlpanel + Controlpanel extra, oder beides zusammen + die WDM Treiber wer DSL hat. Oder eben mit dem neuen Catalyst Control Center, als 44mb großes Paket. Auszug aus den Release Notes:

Ein paar Doom3 News

Hier mal ein paar Doom3 News. Der Patch 1.10 ist mittlerweile für Windows erschienen und behebt zahlreiche Bugs. Das Changelog findet ihr wie immer am Ende der News unter „mehr“.

Nun wohl die wichtigste Neuigkeit für Doom3; der Linux Server ist endlich fertig und kann heruntergeladen werden. Damit dürfte es sehr sehr bald auch zahlreiche neue Server geben. Einen Client hat man auch gleich noch dazugepackt, somit können auch die Unixer endlich D3 zocken. Auf ATI Karten sieht es allerdings noch nicht so prickelnd aus, allerdings wird es wohl dazu in absehbarer Zeit einen neuen ATI Treiber geben, der mit D3 funktionieren soll. Ich hoffe, auch ausreichend schnell…

Wie man den Server installiert und alles weitere zum Linux Paket, erfahrt ihr im Doom3 Wiki, welches es hier zu bestaunen gibt. Ihr müsst auf jeden Fall wieder wie auch bei Quake3 schon, einige Files die sich auf der CD befinden auf den Server kopieren. Das ist nicht so optimal gelöst leider wie z.b. Epic dies macht mit einem reinen Dedicated Server, aber naja man kann nicht alles haben.

UT2004 Editor's Choice Edition Bonus Pack

Epic hat das Editor’s Choice Edition Bonus Pack zum Download bereitgestellt. Es beinhaltet 6 neue Charaktere, 3 neue Fahrzeuge für den Onslaught Modus und 4 neue Onslaught Maps. PHP 5.0.2 erschienen

Die PHP Entwickler Gruppe hat die Version 5.0.2 von PHP zum Download freigegeben. Es wurden hauptsächlich Bugs gefixed, aber es gibt auch ein paar neue Sachen. Mehr erfahrt ihr im Changelog, welches unter „more“ zu lesen ist.

OpenOffice 1.1.3 RC erschienen

OpenOffice.org hat den ersten Release Candidate der 1.1.3 Version zum Download bereitgestellt. Wer nicht weiß was OpenOffice ist, dem erklär ichs kurz. Es ist eine komplette Office Suite und ein wirklicher Konkurrent zu Microsoft Office. Ausserdem ist es eines der 3 wichtigsten und größten OpenSource Projekte. Die ReleaseNotes gibt es hier .
